Recently, the "Starting towards a Better Life"- the 2020 New Year Party for College Faculty, sponsored by the college Labor Union, was held in the Experimental Theater of the Art Building. College leadership Yuan Weikun, Ma Yujun, Liu Guoqing, Jiang Minquan, Cheng Guizhen, Xu Jingxue, Xie Jingwei and more than 500 faculty and staff gathered together to welcome the New Year.

The party kicked off in the opening dance "Dragon and Lion Dance to Celebrate the Spring Festival". The Party Committee Secretary Yuan Wekun delivered a New Year greeting. He pointed out that 2019 was a year of endeavor for the college to build characteristic high-level vocational colleges. In this year, all the faculty were united and determined to make progress, promoting the college to gain new major achievements in various undertakings. The next period would be the window phase, the key period, and the critical period for the high-quality development of the college. With firm confidence, we must emancipate our minds, change our concepts, overcome difficulties, and seize opportunities in the spirit of pioneering and innovation, striving towards high-quality development goals. Finally, he sent New Year’ wish to the teachers and students of the college on behalf of the Party committee and administration of the college.

More than 100 faculty and staff from the 12 branches of the college Labor Union presented a wonderful visual feast. It is worth mentioning that a meeting ceremony was held for the newborn babies of the faculty in this party. President Ma Yujun distributed gifts to the representatives of 8 newborn babies.

The atmosphere of the party was cheerful and lively, full of joy. Everyone sang and danced to express their love to the college and country. The bright singing voices spread new hopes while beautiful dancing postures showed the progressive spirit. All the Mass Media people would remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind, forging ahead to make new contributions to the education undertakings of HNMMC.
