Recently, the first stage of the2020 Skill Competition of Hunan Provincial Vocational Colleges concluded. The contestants of HNMMC won 13 first prizes, 9 second prizes and 13 third prizes. The number of first prizes increased by 18.18% compared with last year, ranking the top in the province again.

The first stage of the competition has 52 match points and 137 items. In this competition, the college selected a total of 166 comtestants in 54 teams (team and individual) to participate in 26 items, involving 22 specialties of the college. The college attached great importance to this skill competition, and organized all secondary schools to complete the registration, qualification review, formation and selection of training teams, and competition training.
   In recent years, the college has paid highly attention to the status of skill contests in teaching reform and talent training, by establishing a long-term mechanism for everyone to participate in skill contests and forming a universal and regular skill contest system and a sound training and selection mechanism so as to create a good education atmosphere of “promoting teaching learning, research, reformation as well as innovation by competition” and continue to expand the achievements of the skills competition. The results of this competition fully demonstrated the talent training level and professional construction achievements of the college, spurring the college on to further deepening the reform of education and teaching and innovating the talent training model.
