For example, when talking about Lu Xun's essay "On Fear of Incurring Gossip ", she grasped the characteristics of students majoring in Journalism, combined with various untrue news and unfavorable public opinion against China during the epidemic, guiding students to keep a clear mind like Lu Xun and be adept in seeing the essence through phenomena.When it came to Xu Zhimo's poem "Happiness of Snowflakes", the poet was happy because he found a clear direction in life and chanted "You see, I have my own direction". She would take hero cases in the battle against the epidemic as an example, such as Zhong Nanshan and Zhang Hongwen, to guide students into a discussion on idol worship and life direction, thus leading students to admire heroes and knowledge. While reading "The Ordinary World", she shared with her students a series of touching stories of ordinary people in the epidemic, such as takeout deliveryman, community police, college students, etc., enabling them to deeply understand that you may born as an ordinary person but can pursue the extraordinary; you may have extraordinary experience but can still be blended into the ordinary world, which is the "ordinary world" of the new era. Through the online teaching design of "one lesson and one case, keeping ideology and politics in my mind", Li Wei transformed the vivid practice of epidemic prevention and control into the important content of teaching in time, adhering to "teaching benefits teachers as well as students" and "course for ideological and political education".
