Recently, the regional finalists for the 16th Chinese Bridge Competition have been chosen and they will participate in the finals held in our college during this summer.
Few days earlier, the Chinese Bridge Kazakhstan finals concluded at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Kusmankulova Sabina from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Confucius Institute won the first place of the senior group. She will attend the 16th Chinese Bridge world finals in China on behalf of Kazakhstan.
Before the Kazakhstan finals, A Duo from Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies，Yelandaron from Okan University and Emilio Bossi from Sapienza University of Rome had won first places in the Uzbekistan round, Turkey round and Italian round respectively. They will also participate in the 16th Chinese Bridge world finals during this summer.
The “Belt and Road” initiative has not only boosted exchanges in trade, culture and other areas between China and countries along this road but also led to the popularity of those who are able to speak Mandarin fluently in these countries. With the help of “Chinese Bridge”, a bridge of culture, friendship and soul, the “Mandarin Fever” continues to grow. “Chinese Bridge” has forged its brand in international cultural exchange and served as an important platform for college students across the world to learn about China.
