On June 10, HNMMC held a graduation ceremony for a Madagascan student SITRAKA ANDRIAMBOLANORO NJAKA JUVENCE , whose Chinese name is Ji Ling. President Ma Yujun and Vice President Xie Jingwei attended the graduation ceremony.

President Ma Yujun, on behalf of the college, expressed warm congratulations to Ji Ling for the completion of his studies, and hoped that he would write a new chapter in life in the world on the road of achieving his dreams, strive to be an envoy of world’s cultural exchanges for mutual learning and common progress. President Ma awarded him a diploma. .

Ji Ling expressed his gratitude to the alma mater in fluent Chinese, saying that he would definitely uphold the school motto, follow the teachers’ instructions, and continuously contribute to the development of Chinese traditional culture, serving as an envoy of China-Africa friendship to reciprocate the cultivation of the alma mater with actual deeds.

Ji Ling is the first international student who graduated from the college’s degree program. He not only completed his study of Leisure Service and Management Specialty, but also obtained the HSK (Level 5) certificate. While at school, he accepted interviews with Madagascar government TV and Real TV stations, played an active role in promoting Chinese culture, and contributed many articles to China-Africa Daily to tell Chinese stories, applied his professional knowledge and practical actions to help international exchanges and served the construction of the Belt and Road. Meanwhile, as a part of the Changsha County Volunteer Association, he uses his artistic specialties to send warm support and care to autistic children and children in orphanage.

Since the college obtained the qualification to recruit international students in 2013, it has enrolled a total of 56 students of Chinese language learning program from Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. Among them, Ji Ling is the first full-time degree program student.
