On the evening of May 13, the college held a grand awards ceremony for the 5th Network Cultural Festival to honor the award-winning teachers and students. Relevant persons in charge of the Student Affairs Office and relevant instructors of the Student Union participated in the ceremony and presented awards to the winners. More than 200 representatives of teachers and students from the secondary schools attended the event.

More than 200 works solicited for the Network Culture Festival included touching stories of epidemic prevention and control, excellent online articles on studying four histories of the Party, civilized public service advertisements, videos, and handcrafts. 35 pieces of works were awarded after strict review, and the School of Journalism and Communication won the Outstanding Organization Award. At the awards site, excellent works were displayed, attracting a warm atmosphere with waves of applause by the audience present.

Peng Tao, the Director of the Student Affairs Department, delivered a speech. He stressed that this festival focused on the theme of learning the "Four Party Histories" and spreading positive energy, created a good campus culture with media characteristics, which had achieved remarkable results in fully demonstrating the school motto of "Creativity Lights up Your Life", outstanding themes, covering a wide range, and creating a strong cultural atmosphere. He expected that students should continue to work hard in active preparation for the 6th Campus Network Cultural Festival, and remain supportive to the festival.
