Recently, the Education Department of Hunan Province promulgated the "Notice on applying for the enrollment plan of the 2020 government-funded nomal students orientated training for rural teachers in Hunan". HNMMC was approved as one of Hunan Provincial Government-funded nomal students training base Orientated for Hunan Secondary Vocational Specialized Teachers in 2020, cooperating with Hunan Normal University in the directional training of teachers in Visual Communication Design specialty.
The School of Visual Art of HNMMC and the School of Engineering and Design of Hunan Normal University jointly applied for the training program of tuition-free undergraduate-level professional teachers of Visual Communication Design in March 2019. In January 2020, the Education Department of Hunan Province officially issued the notice of admission plan.
The Visual Communication Design specialty focus on the comprehensive development of morality, intelligence, physique and aesthetics, systematically equipped with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills such as brand planning, advertising design, packaging design, corporate image design, new media communication and other necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills. With a good professional moral accomplishment and lofty professional ideals and pursuits, it has good scientific and humanistic quality, excellent professional teaching ability and advanced educational concept, focusing on comprehensive quality, solid foundation and proficient skills so as to be capable of integrated theoretical and practical teaching and to suit "double type" teachers with the development concept of modern vocational education.
After completing the junior college study in HNMMC, students will continue their undergraduate study at the School of Engineering and Design of Hunan Normal University. They will obtain a bachelor's degree in engineering from Hunan Normal University when graduating. The specialty plans to enroll students in secondary vocational schools in September this year.
