On August 31st, in order to advance undergraduate-level talent cultivation in the field of electronic information engineering with higher quality, leaders and relevant teachers from the School of New Media Technology and the Academic Affairs Office of HNMMC met with their counterparts from Changsha Normal University, including the Academic Affairs Office and the School of Information Science & Engineering (SISE), to discuss collaborative educational initiatives.

Qu Xilong, the Dean of SISE, provided an overview of the school, highlighting aspects such as faculty strength, speciality uniqueness, and educational achievements. He believed that the "Chuyi Craftsman Program" pilot for talent cultivation presented an excellent opportunity for exploring new cooperation between the two institutions. Both sides had engaged in effective communication and collaboration in areas such as enrollment planning preparation, student admissions, and talent training program improvement, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation. Cai Youxing, the Secretary of Party General Branch in SISE, expressed confidence that the two institutions, although facing challenges in communication and coordination, would work together to create a better learning environment for students pursuing undergraduate degrees in electronic information engineering.

Yu Ya, the Director of HNMMCs Academic Affairs Office, emphasized that the "Chuyi Craftsman Program" pilot offered a valuable opportunity for the college to explore undergraduate-level vocational education. She stated that HNMMC would fully support this inter-institutional cooperation in terms of personnel, finances, and resources, recognizing its potential to enhance the level of education. Director Li Huiyi and Party Secretary Ji Fugui of the School of New Media Technology expressed their gratitude for the support provided by Changsha Normal University and the university's Academic Affairs Office. They expressed confidence in the future cooperation between the two institutions and urged their faculty members to cherish this opportunity, learn from advanced experiences, apply them effectively, and build strength for the establishment of independent undergraduate-level vocational education programs in the future.

It is worth noting that the "ChuYi Craftsman Program" in cooperation with Changsha Normal University will admit 90 students majoring in Electronic Information Engineering. These students will enroll and matriculate alongside other incoming freshmen. The two institutions will adopt a "4+0" model, with students being educated for four years at the School of New Media Technology. The SISE at Changsha Normal University will be responsible for guiding talent cultivation. During their time in school, students will receive equal treatment to Changsha Normal University's on-campus students in areas such as scholarship evaluation, financial assistance for economically disadvantaged students, career counseling and support, student loans, development of party (youth league) members, and post-graduation benefits. Upon successful completion of their four-year undergraduate studies, and meeting all relevant requirements and conditions, students will be awarded a regular undergraduate diploma and degree certificate from Changsha Normal University.
