On September 13th, He Hui, Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and Director-general of Hunan Provincial Radio and Television Bureau, along with Xiao Rong, member of the Leading Party Members' Group and Deputy Director-general of Hunan Provincial Radio and Television Bureau, visited HNMMC for research. They were accompanied by the Secretary of the CPC HNMMC Committee, Li Sanfu, President, He Zhanbing, and Vice Presidents, Xu Jingxue, Lei Junlin, and Shen Jianfei. Both parties engaged in extensive discussions.

During the symposium, the research team highly praised HNMMC as the cradle of "Hunan Radio and Television (R&T) Talents" for its outstanding contributions to nurturing such talents. They recognized that HNMMC has established a distinctive educational model characterized by "born from R&T, reliant on R&T, and strengthened by R&T". He Hui summarized his impression of the college with the "Six Haves," emphasizing that HNMMC possesses "a foundation, a basis, distinct characteristics, a brand, achievements, and a promising future". He provided three directives for further development. First, to better serve the overall goals by aligning with the important speeches made by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his visit to Hunan and the decisions of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Hunan Provincial Government. This includes supporting talent and intellectual contributions to the implementation of the "Three Hubs and Four Missions" strategy in Hunan, especially in building Changsha into a global R&D center city and the National Malanshan Media Laboratory, supporting the development of Hunan's audio and video industry, and assisting the "Hunan R&T Talents" initiative. Second, to strengthen cooperation further, leveraging the leading role of Hunan Provincial Radio and Television Bureau in the industry, and combining the advantages of media colleges. Collaboration should encompass talent cultivation, scientific innovation, quality content creation, and industry development through cooperative projects, aiming for a project-oriented, goal-oriented, and task-oriented approach to integrate education and industry. Third, to seize opportunities, face challenges head-on, and enhance the level of college education. Efforts should be concentrated on advancing the establishment of vocational undergraduate programs.

Li Sanfu, the Secretary of the CPC HNMMC Committee, provided an overview of HNMMC's history, current status, major construction, talent cultivation, and social services. He emphasized that HNMMC, as a media vocational college jointly established by the Department of Education of Hunan Province, Hunan Provincial Radio and Television Bureau, and Hunan Broadcasting System, has deep connections with Hunan radio and television system. Over the years, HNMMC has actively promoted deep cooperation with Hunan Satellite TV, Malanshan Video Cultural and Creative Industry Park, and other leading enterprises and key parks, fostering a profound integration of cultural and creative industry chains and talent development chains. This has contributed to continuous growth in cultural industries and regional socio-economic development, enhancing our influence in the national media vocational education field, and various initiatives of the college have achieved significant development.

The symposium was presided over by He Zhanbing, the Vice Secretary of the CPC Committee and President of HNMMC. He expressed heartfelt gratitude for the long-term support and concern from the Propaganda Department of CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and Hunan Provincial Radio and Television Bureau. As a crucial college in serving and supporting the development of the Malanshan Video Cultural and Creative Industry Park, HNMMC has a significant responsibility in actively advancing the "Three Hubs and Four Missions" strategy implementation in Hunan and the new leap forward in Hunan's cultural industry. Currently, the college is at a critical stage in constructing “Double High” (high-level vocational college and majors with Chinese characteristics) and establishing vocational undergraduate programs, where opportunities and challenges coexist. He hopes to continue receiving support and care from the Propaganda Department of CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, Hunan Provincial Radio and Television Bureau, and all sectors of society.

The research team also visited Omni-media Interactive Studio Hall, Hunan Radio and Television Program Production Base, and the Integrated Media Center of the college. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on specific cooperation areas, including talent cultivation, training base construction, and regional economic services.
