On the morning of November 24th, HNMMC held the Opening Ceremony of the 2020 Hunan Provincial National-level Training Program-Training Class on Secondary Vocational Schools Teaching Ability Improvement in Impoverished Areas. Professor Lei Junlin, Vice President of HNMMC, principals of the Centre for Continuing Education, Academic Affairs Division, and 56 participants attended the opening ceremony.

Lei Junlin delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the college at the ceremony and introduced the educational situation and the achievements of HNMMC in the teacher skill competitions in recent years. Meanwhile, Lei Junlin indicated that the college would focus on this training, and hoped that all participants would cherish the learning opportunities, making good use of the learning platform, studying hard, thinking deeply, and improving together through communication and exchanges.

The principals of the College's Continuing Education Center and the Academic Affairs Division also put forward expectations and training requirements and goals for all participants.

It is reported that the training participants of this seminar were the contestants of secondary vocational schools in poverty-stricken areas who won the second and third prizes in the 2020 Hunan Provincial Teachers’ Teaching Ability Competition. The training duration was 56 hours (7 days), and the training content mainly included informatization vocational quality, informatization vocational skills, informatization teaching design and implementation, and the related information of the teachers’ teaching ability competition.
