HNMMC ranks first in the specialty of Journalism and Communication, the Radio and Film category by professional category as well as the specialty of Film and Television Program Production in the country! In the Network Journalism and Communication specialty, the college ranks second in the country. On May 6, "Jin Pingguo Ranking" released the ranking of vocational professional competitiveness for the first time, including the comprehensive strength distribution of 19 major categories, 99 professional categories and 731 professional majors in 1429 vocational colleges across the country. It also presented the evaluation and analysis on the overall strength of the majors in various regions and vocational colleges nationwide. Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College (hereinafter referred to as the college) won three first prizes and one second prize on this list.

The "Jin Pingguo Ranking" (also known as "Ranking of Science & Education Evaluation in China ") is known for its fairness, objectiveness, and authority to support the construction of "double-high" vocational education.
