In response to the call for "suspending classes but not teaching and studying" during the special period of fighting against the epidemic across the country, in order to allow students to independently choose course to learn online, our college teacher Zeng Dan provided teaching services for teachers and students of more than 640 vocational colleges and universities in China through sharing free and open resource of the provincial-level quality online course “Digital Plane Production” developed under her guidance. It turned out that she has become a popular anchor for assisting teaching during the epidemic period.
The "Digital Plane Production" course is one of the Hunan online open quality course built by teacher Zeng Dan and approved as a project in 2019. Since the start of the online open course construction, Zeng Dan made great efforts in well-designed teaching content, reasonable teaching cases, and the production of granulated teaching video, forming an online course with unique teaching style, detailed teaching content and strong learning guidance, which has attracted more than 1 million views of learning in the early stage.
The call for "suspending classes but not teaching and studying" provided the online teaching services with better quality. She purchased equipment at her own expense, optimized course resources day and night, and updated more than 40 teaching cases in a short time. She adopted rural revitalization social service projects, school-enterprise business projects, and cutting-edge projects that students were interested in as teaching cases, and properly used ideological and political education, and competition promotion to attract students. Besides, all teaching contents were equipped with original teaching videos and textbooks. Today's online open course "Digital Plane Production" has more exquisite design of videos and courseware, rich in resources for practical training projects, exercises, test questions, and materials with more frequent online and offline mixed teaching interactions. Integrated quality online courses of new forms are displayed in front of teachers and students.
In addition, Zeng Dan worked so hard that she not only focus on the construction of her own courses, but also shared the experience to other teachers. During the outbreak, she was tirelessly instructing young teachers to build courses. The courses of the teachers guided by her were praised in the college supervision bulletin, making a demonstration to lead the course construction of the whole college.
On the basis of the centralized face-to-face training for nearly 200 teachers of Changsha Nanfang Professional College, she took advantage of the network to guide the trainee teachers to improve the informatization teaching ability, which effectively accelerated the improvement of the teachers' informatization teaching ability and level, and solved the basic problems of online teaching informatization technology in their college. According to incomplete statistics, the online teaching of Changsha Nanfang Professional College was officially launched on February 24, with 153 courses taught online, meeting the online learning needs of more than 10,000 students.
