Recently, in the Proposition Collection Contest of the Public Welfare Advertisement "Epidemic Campaign" of the 12th National Advertising Art Contest for College Student, Wen Jingzi, a teacher in HNMMC, directed Zeng Lingrun, majoring in Art Design, won the first prize. This work stood out from the 39,851 groups of entries from 1,348 colleges and universities in 29 regions nationwide, demonstrating the strength of the college in the professional field. As a "backstage hero", Wen Jingzi, a beautiful post-80s teacher, is always a master in the design field in the eyes of many students.

It is reported that in the special period of prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, in response to the Ministry of Education's call to "suspend classes but dont stop teaching and studying", Wen Jingzi in the "Layout Design" online course, guided students in the way of live broadcasting and face-to-face online teaching. By use of perfect integration of the contest and online teaching, she encouraged students to use their knowledge to participate in skill competitions. While greatly strengthening and improving students' skills and knowledge, she naturally integrated the elements of ideology and politics into the "cloud" classroom to deliver more positive energy. The "War of Epidemic" program was set by Jing Zi's teacher in conjunction with the National Advertising Art Contest for College Students. When guiding Zeng Lingyun in her work "Home", Wen Jingzi brainstormed with students on "cloud" design ideas. After many interactive discussions, they decided to highlight the theme of "no visiting, no gathering" through the visual presentation of the work. The work took advantage of the popular topic of "travel at home" to expand the creative idea of the poster theme, and narrowed all the outing activities to indoor activities at home. After the creative idea was confirmed, Zeng Lingrun completed five sets of first drafts and submitted them online to the teacher. However, the previous design did not achieve the expected effect on visual impact.

In order to achieve a poster theme that is vividly portrayed and eye-catching, Miss Wen collected a number of excellent poster layout works at home and abroad overnight as online resources for students reference, and carefully analyzed the theme of current affairs during the fight against the epidemic to the students, combining excellent deeds to inspire them. In this way, Zeng Lingrun redesigned three sets of sample drafts, and finally decided to use the element of "metro route" as the expression of the theme. The topic of advocating to the public not to leave their homes was highlighted by combining the metro lines with the word "home" (in Chinese), and special station names such as living room, dining room, study room, and bedroom. In terms of expression, the works are expressed in vectors, using the gray and dark subway route map as the background element, and the open paths of "home" is displayed in red, green, blue, orange, purple and other colors, which are presented in the center of the layout, directly impressing the audience. The work of Zeng Lingrun became the first completed work in her class. The moment it was submitted to the online platform, it was praised by each student in the whole grade.

Wen Jingzi then launched an online call for students like Zeng Lingrun to encourage all students to participate in the competition and show their design skills. All of a sudden, the students responded and submitted their works to the platform, starting a heated online discussion and mutual evaluation between teachers and students. 72 works including Say no to rumors, Joint Protests, Home is a Fortress, After the Gunshots, No Winners, and Anti-epidemic Leader appeared online, winning praise from teachers and students. Wen Jingzi selected outstanding works and submitted them to the Propaganda Department of the college. Finally, some works were adopted by the college and displayed as excellent cases on the article of "Learning from the replying spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping. We are all receivers in the WeChat official account of the college. In the study of this competition, students not only improved their knowledge and skills, but also established correct values, showing more positive energy to the public in the form of design works.

The relevant responsible person of the school commented : Teacher Wen Jingzi's "Layout Design" cloud class is results-oriented, putting "promoting learning with competition" and "ideological education" into practice. It constructed a "project + competition + incubation + "exhibition" curriculum teaching system, actively exploring the means of information technology to create a new form of curriculum reform.
