Recently, the Education Work Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Department of Education of Hunan Province issued the document "Notice on the Results of the 2022 Annual Assessment of Safety Construction of Units Directly Under the Education Work Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the Department of Education of Hunan Province" (the Education Work Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Notice (2023) No. 3). HNMMC was awarded the advanced unit in safety construction.

This is the fifth consecutive year that the college has received this honor since 2018. Before that, the college was also selected as the project unit of "Safety Construction Demonstration School" in Hunan Province in 2023.

In 2022, the college Party committee and the administration of HNMMC attached great importance to safety construction, taking effective measures and making remarkable achievements. The campus is safe with order, and the general situation of politics is stable. The campus stability under the normal epidemic prevention and control was ensured by taking the measures, such as strengthening organizational leadership, improving system construction, doing risk research and judgment, reinforcing hidden danger investigation, building a solid security defense, and implementing supervision and accountability. The college has adhered to starting from the actual situation, sticking closely to the key period, objects and areas, and grasping the school situation and public opinion trends in time, and has conducted regularly studying and judging the security and stability situation, timely checking the shortcomings, making up for the weaknesses, emphasizing the rectification and improvement, so as to to ensure a safe and stable campus.

Safety work is always on the road and is the lifeblood of all work. In 2023, the college will take the opportunity of the "Safe Construction Demonstration School" project to raise its political status and establish a sound long-term safety mechanism from the aspect of ensuring stability and accelerating development. Great efforts will be made to establish and improve long-term safety mechanisms, and implement various safety precautions, continuously strengthening campus safety work, ensuring school stability and the safety of teachers and students, and contributing to a new level in the college’s safety construction.
