HNMMC Held the (Online) Opening Ceremony of 2022 Autumn Semester for International Students

On the afternoon of October 10, HNMMC held an online opening ceremony for international students in the autumn semester of 2022. Xie Jingwei, Vice President of HNMMC, attended and delivered a speech.

Xie Jingwei delivered a speech at the ceremony, expressing sincere greetings to international students on behalf of HNMMC. He introduced the development history and international school- running level of the college, which will provide students with high-quality teaching resources and intelligent management services. He hoped that students would actively adapt to the online learning environment, and be diligent in study, active in thinking, solid in practice to achieve success in professional learning. They will make friends with teachers and students and improve intercultural communication ability. They are expected to build a bridge between China and Malaysia, and strive to be an envoy to spread the excellent Chinese culture.

Li Xiang, the head teacher and lecturer of international students, and the leader of the Modern Pop Music specialty of the School of Film and Television Arts, introduced the course learning requirements, matters need attention for online course and class construction management regulations for international students of Pop Music major at the opening ceremony.

Zhong Junwei, a student from Malaysia, made a speech as the student representative. He expressed his gratitude for the learning opportunities provided by the college. He was honored to enter the only college in Hunan Province with a separately set Pop Music specialty for further study in Hunan Province. He would live up to his youth and pursue his dreams, and surely gain a wonderful and unforgettable experience of "virtual overseas study".

The opening ceremony was successfully concluded in the school promotion film and the school song "We Are Young". The International students majoring in Modern Pop Music have officially started their journey to study abroad in HNMMC.

Relevant principals of the International Exchange Division, the School of Film and Television Arts, lecturers and 11 international students from Malaysia participated in the online opening ceremony.
