On December 1, News Broadcast of Hunan TV reported the E-sports and Management specialty of the School of Visual Art of our college, as the representative of the first batch of the colleges with E-sports specialty.

Since the establishment of E-sports and Management specialty, the college have been actively exploring the school-running mode of "campus club" and constantly innovating the talent training mode through cooperation with enterprises. The college has undertaken the Hunan provincial final contest of Cross Fire, E-sports Forum of WE Club for Colleges, participated in IEF Hunan International Digital Entertainment Carnival and ensured the steady improvement of students' innovation and entrepreneurship ability through rich teaching practice. In August 2019, the "UESL E-sports League" project, under the guidance of Chen Xianghuai, Shen Jianfei and Huang Xin from the School of Visual Art, won the first prize in the Hunan Provincial Competition of Internet + innovation and entrepreneurship.
