With the commentary in the live broadcast, Wang Jinglei, a student of 2018 Broadcasting and Hosting Speciality, appeared on the field of torch relay of the 11th National Traditional Games of Ethic Minorities of the People's Republic of China on the 7th September. As the representative of Tujia ethic group, Wang completed the 33rd torch relay.

The torch relay city welcomed a total of 123 torchbearers, among whom 56 torchbearers are representatives of 56 ethic group. They alternately relayed the torch with other 67 torchbearers from all walks of life, symbolizing that 56 ethnic groups are as united as pomegranate seeds to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China.

On September 8, the Opening Ceremony of the 11th National Traditional Games of Ethic Minorities of the People's Republic of China was held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. Wang Jinglei, on behalf of the 8 million Tujia compatriots, walked in the ethic phalanx, greeting the chinese national flag and accepting the review by the Party and state leaders, as well as the whole nation.

In June, under the requirements of the Organizing Committee of the 11th National Traditional Games of Ethic Minorities of the People's Republic of China, a Tujia representative would be selected from Hunan Province to participate in the national movement and related activities. After the recommendation of various cities, states and universities, Wang Jinglei, a student of our college, stood out from other candidates in the strict selection, on behalf of Hunan and 8 million Tujia nationalities, serving as one of the 56 national representatives in the 111th National Traditional Games of Ethic Minorities of the People's Republic of China.

Held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province from September 8 to September 16, Which attracted 34 participating delegations and 7009 athletes, becoming the largest one to date.
