July 1st marked the 98th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.On this day, the teachers and students sang My Motherland and I with passion to celebrate the birthday of the great Party. The MV won over 10,000 click rate within one day after it was published on the college’s WeChat official account, which received extensive attention of Hunan Daily-Hunan Today, Xuexi-Hunan Learning Platform, Red Net Moment, Tencent News, Xiaoxiang Morning Herald, Sanxiang City Express, Changsha Evening Newspaper, Huasheng Online, Hunan Education (WeChat official account), Hunan Education News Network, etc., and praise from the alumni and all walks of life. The Wechat official account of HNMMC received many alumni messages. Someone said "To see those strange but familiar faces I was excited and pleased, wish my alma mater be better and better, and the motherland be prosper!" One alumnus said, “Looking at these familiar buildings and every corner where we have walked. Wish the motherland be stronger and the alma mater be better!” Numerous Comments can be found such as “I love China, I love Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College”.

In the MV, a special ideological and political lesson began  after Yuan Weikun, the Secretary of Party Committee in HNMMC stepping onto the platform of the classroom, them solemnly writing the word MOTHERLAND on the blackboard and President of HNMMC Ma Yujun handing over a small national flag to the student in Affiliated Xingsha Experimental Primary School , meanwhile thousands of teachers and students of HNMMC sang My Motherland and I with passion for the 98th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Most of the professional teachers and students of the college attended this lesson highlighting the strong characteristics of media vocational education. This is not only a special ideological and political lesson but also a large-scale professional training course.

International students from Germany, Madagascar and other countries wrote "I love you, China" on Chinese art paper. A huge national flag slowly unfolded from the top of the teaching building. Filled with patriotic enthusiasm, the teachers and students shouted "I love you, motherland”, while countless small national flags were waving on campus. At this moment, the entire campus was overwhelmed with joy and excitement.

All of the faculty and students, including the award-winning instructors in the National Vocational Students Skills Competition, the leading figures in the media industry, the outstanding representatives of the ideological and political work teams, the outstanding teachers in supporting Xinjiang project, and the volunteers dedicated to the international promotion of Chinese language and culture, used their own plain voice to express their respect for the great motherland!
