On June 30th, a grand celebration was held to celebrate the Party’s 96th anniversary in the Experimental Theatre. Leaders including Yuan Weikun, Ma Yujun, Yao Haitao, Fang Jianchao, Wang Jian, He Zhanbin and Liu guoqing presented this meeting. During this meeting, Yuan Weikun, the secretary of the Party Committee  delivered an important speech with president Ma Yujun in the chair.

                  

        The meeting started with the national anthem of China. Wang Jian, the secretary of the commission for discipline inspection, read the Decision on Commending Advanced Party Organizations, Excellent Communist Party Members and Excellent Party Workers. A total of 4 basic level party organizations including the First Branch of General Party Branch were awarded the title of Advanced Grass-roots Party Organizations; Li bing and other 51 comrades were awarded the title of Outstanding Communists; Chen Xu and other 13 comrades were awarded the title of Excellent Party Workers.

In his speech, Yuan Weikun，the secretary of the Party committee made a comprehensive review of the achievements made by the leadership in the past year. He mentioned that as the key year for our college to strive for excellence and Double First-Class, this year is also a crucial year to improve quality and efficiency as well as the very year to deepen the construction and reform of internal governance capability. Yuan Weikun asked that Secretaries of the Party organizations at all levels and all Party members should hold the belief firmly for the development of the College, uphold a principle of serving teachers and students with a  well-disciplined mind and promote the power of examples for responsibility and development. With greater sense of historical mission, more political enthusiasm, better innovation and more powerful work style, all Party members should take on more responsibility and make their efforts to the contribution of an excellent college and a Double First-class college.
