The Chinese Bridge-Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students is a large-scale international contest organized by Confucius Institute Headquarters（Hanban）, aimed at initiating active roles in learning Chinese of international college students and enhancing their comprehension of Chinese language and culture. It becomes an important platform for the students to learn the Chinese language and more about this country, helping young people in the world to better communicate with each other. 

The Chinese Bridge is a bridge connecting seven continents with one of the most charming languages in the world. On this bridge, college students from all around the world showed their passion for, perseverance in, and understanding of the Chinese civilization. The competition created countless learning opportunities to introduce China’s language and cultures to the rest of the world. It is hoped that the bridge will connect peoples from different places and contribute to the eternal theme of this world---Peace and Friendship.
