Study earnestly to be a versatile talent

In September 2011, Song Kangfei was admitted to HNMMC for Hosting and Broadcasting Specialty. At school, he studied hard, got up early every day to practice sound, read books and newspapers, and study news writing, photography, audio and video editing software and other professional knowledge. Moreover, he took an active participation in campus clubs and social practice activities, serving as the host and director of the campus radio station, and presiding over dozens of large-scale evening parties and weddings on and off campus. Song Kangfei obtained the "Mandarin Level Certificate", "Etiquette Compere Qualification Certificate", and "Computer Level Certificate". When instructed students from Xingjiang to learn Mandarin, he performed well and forged deep friendships with minority students, and won the titile of "Excellent Volunteer for Chinese Language and Culture Communication".

Contribute to the military and serve the motherland

In October 2013, Song Kangfei joined the army, serving in a border defense regiment of the Xinjiang Military Region. The regiment stationed in the Karakoram Plateau with an average altitude of more than 4,500 meters. In an extreme cold and oxygen deficit with sparse vegetation, the place belongs to Category 5 hard and remote areas. The famous Shenxianwan outpost of the army is right here, stationed by the regiment of Qi Fabao, Chen Hongjun, Chen Xiangrong and Xiao Siyuan, the heroes of the defense of the country. During his service, according to the needs of the army's tasks, he changed his post four times within two years, once serving as a battalion correspondent, gunner, commentator of the Regiment History Museum, and cook. He completed various assigned tasks very well and was awarded the "Bronze Medal of Guarding the Border".

In September 2015, Song Kangfei returned to school to continue his studies after being discharged from the army. In September 2016, he was admitted to the Changsha College majoring in Art of Broadcasting and Hosting Art. At school, he gained the Announcer and Host Qualification Certificate and graduated as an Outstanding Graduate of the college.

In 2018, after graduation, Song Kangfei worked as journalist at the Military Program Center of China Media Group. In 2021, Song Kangfei's photographic works won the third prize in the front-line work style theme photography collection activity of China Media Group's "Contribute Youth to the Party, and Strive for the Country", and first prize in the journalism category of the 2020 CCTV Outstanding Work with the special program "Echo of Victory" of "Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteers' War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea", which he participated in planning and production. Program "Reporter's Viewpoint", which he participated in the production, was nominated for radios to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in the 2019-2020 radio and television program selection of China Radio and Television Awards.
