Recently, HNMMC received a letter of thanks from the college-enterprise cooperation partner-Sanxiang Metropolis Daily, affirming the excellent performance of 30 intern students of the college at the newspaper and looking forward to the implementation of the "college-enterprise strategic cooperation" with the college to jointly build a high-level industry-education integration training base for the training of new media professionals.
At the beginning of this year, the college signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Hunan Daily and dedicated to the deep integration of industry and education, the innovative and development of the institutional mechanism of college-enterprise cooperation, the construction of a new highland for media vocational education, and to the exploration of a new path for media vocational education reform. After the signing of the agreement, 30 outstanding students from the School of Journalism and Communication, class of 2019, were selected to join the Interview Center, Ben Video, New Media Editing and other departments in the "Sanxiang New Media Internship and Training Base" for a three-month professional internship. During the internship, the students successfully completed various tasks assigned by the internship training base, and created a batch of video works with more than 10 million views and news articles with more than 10,000 readers, showing a good spirit and professional standards. Among them, 7 students including Deng Huijue, Huang Shiqi and Xiao Yulu were awarded as "Excellent Interns".
The college will further deepen the content and expand the fieled of cooperation with Hunan Daily, especially exploring the establishment of a mixed ownership secondary college with a dual college-enterprise elements, innovating the training model of professional talents for intergrated media in the new era, and building the specialities on the industrial and innovation chain, opening up a new pattern of industry-education integration and college-enterprise cooperation, and improving the level of the college's service to the development of the communication and culture industry in Hunan and even the whole country.
