On September 10, the college held a teacher representative symposium on the 37^th Teacher’s Day . People present at the meeting were the leadership of the college, the principals of the Party and Government Office, Organization and Personnel Office, the Department of Propaganda and United Front Work, Academic Affairs Office, Scientific Research Management Office, Student Affairs Office, Security Office, and Practical Training Center, and the representatives of teachers and students from the secondary schools and teaching departments. The symposium was presided over by Liu Guoqing, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the HNMMC.

At the meeting, the faculty representatives talked freely about their opinions and expressed that their personal growth benefited from the high-quality development platform provided by HNMMC. They extended their gratitude to the college for its care and cultivation for the faculty and staff, which gave everyone a sense of belonging, accomplishment and happiness in their work. At the same time, teacher representatives, full of confidence in the college’s prospect, offered suggestions on promotion of the college’s transition to a regular college, connotation development, construction of teaching staff, professional construction, and talent training. Two student representatives also expressed their thanks to the college for its careful cultivation by mentioning that their progress is inseparable from the patient guidance and constant encouragement of the teachers.

Party secretary Yuan Weikun expressed holiday greetings to all teachers and thanks to them for their hard work and great contributions to the construction and development of the college. He indicated that teachers should be persistent in teaching and educating people by being a “Four Good” teacher with ideals and conviction, moral sentiments, profound knowledge, and benevolent hearts. Teachers should never forget to cultivate people by moral education as the original intentions, and their mission to educate talents for the Party and the country. They must adhere to the fine traditions, sticking to the feelings for the college. Work together and fully grasp the major opportunities for the college’s development, all teachers will create a better tomorrow for the college.
