HNMMC Held a "I Do Solid Work for the Masses" Symposium and Visited Teacher Representatives

On the occasion of the 37th Teacher’s Day on September 9th, college leadership Yuan Weikun, Ma Yujun, Liu Guoqing, Jiang Minquan, Cheng Guizhen, Xu Jingxue, Lei Junlin, and Xie Jingwei respectively organized departments to hold the symposium with the theme of “I do solid work for the masses” paid a visit to teacher representatives.

The college leaders listened to the teachers' opinions and suggestions on career development, professional title review, research ability improvement, training room management, maintenance of teaching equipment and facilities, and environment improvement for the instructors on duty, and had a full communication with the teachers. At the meeting, the leaders of the college expressed gratitude to the teachers for their contributions to the development of the college over the years and their diligent work in the construction of the college and talent training, and hoped that they would continue to engage in the development of the colleges "14th Five-Year Plan" and transition to a regular college.

Yuan Weikun put forward four requirements to the teachers at the School of Visual Arts. Firstly, teachers must see their words and deeds in implementing the Party's education policy. Secondly, teachers must dare to shoulder the responsibility to fulfill the fundamental tasks of cultivating people by moral education. Thirdly, teachers must dare to innovate in education and teaching. Fourthly, they should develop a deep feeling in the development of the college.

In the School of Management, Ma Yujun pointed out that teachers should establish the concept of centering on teaching and taking the "14th Five-Year Plan" as the core. Hard efforts should be made to study and practice the National Vocational Education Reform Implementation Plan, and to analyze the new features and ideas of vocational education to make progress in its content and core.

Teacher representatives expressed their gratitude to the college for its long-term care and support to the faculty and staff. They were deeply moved by the college leaders visit on the occasion of Teacher's Day, and made determination to continually fulfill their duty while keeping their original aspirations and mission in mind in order to make greater contributions to the construction and development of the college, especially in the transition to be an university.
