On the afternoon of September 9, HNMMC held the coordination meeting for the 2021 orientation work. President Ma Yujun, deputy secretary of the Party committee Liu Guoqing, vice president Jiang Minquan and Xie Jingwei attended the meeting, which was presided over by vice president Lei Junlin.

The meeting reviewed and approved the "Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College's 2021 Orientation Work Plan", and detailed arrangements for the orientation and registration for new students. At the meeting, the director of the Student Affairs Office reported on the orientation work. The directors of the Admissions and Employment Guidance Office and the Academic Affairs Office introduced the freshman qualification review and the retest for Art major students.

Present Ma Yujun delivered a speech and put forward four requirements for the 2021 orientation work. It must be organized in a careful manner. The heads of all departments must conduct work in the frontline. It requires sophisticated arrangements. The leading departments must make efforts in division of responsibilities, performing their duties, paying attention to details, and cooperating with each other. Teachers must be enthusiastic and thoughtful and put students first. The work must be conducted in a safe and orderly manner to maintain a good order for freshmen registration. Ma Yujun pointed out that special attention should be paid in enrollment education such as epidemic prevention and control, telecommunications fraud, fire security, professional introduction, school disciplines and rules publicity. we should focus on the first lesson of the school, and make efforts to welcome the new semester so as to safeguard the physical and mental health of teachers and students.

At the meeting, the college leaders made arrangements for the specific matters of the orientation work, discussed solutions and contingency plans detail by detail, and required all relevant departments to fully implement the spirit of the meeting to ensure the smooth progress of the orientation.
