From January 9th to 13th, HNMMC held the "Gathering to Recall the Glory Days, Welcoming the Spring with Peaches and Plums" New Year Alumni Return Event. Over 60 alumni from across the country returned to the college to reunite with teachers and students, sharing bonds and strategies for development.

The alumni visited the college history museum, studio building, comprehensive all-media training room, and other facilities, followed by a discussion session. Many expressed their deep feelings upon returning to the college, acknowledging the profound affection and remarkable changes at their alma mater, and feeling proud of its leaps in development. During the discussion, the alumni fondly recalled their learning and living experiences during their time at the college, as well as the care and support provided by the college and teachers during their growth. They focused on offering suggestions regarding talent cultivation, majors construction, employment and entrepreneurship, career development, and college-enterprise cooperation.

Xie Jingwei, the Deputy Secretary of the CPC HNMMC Committee, stated during the discussion that alumni are not only the outstanding outcomes of the college's mission to cultivate virtuous individuals but also a valuable asset for the college's high-quality development. The college will continue to strengthen close connections with alumni, hoping they will keep caring about and supporting the college's progress and actively participate in various activities and construction projects to contribute to its long-term development.

Xu Jingxue, member of the CPC HNMMC Committee and Vice President, expressed the hope that by building a communication bridge with alumni, the college could deepen integration with alumni enterprises, enhance the quality of independent training of applied talents, and inject new vitality into the college's development.

The event, aiming to deepen the connection and affection between alumni and their alma mater and to unite alumni consensus and strength, is expected to integrate alumni work with the college's central tasks of "constructing ‘Double High’ and establishing vocational undergraduate programs", providing a significant boost for the college's construction and the economic development of the Hunan region.

It is learned that the New Year Alumni Return Event is a specific measure of the college to implement the requirements of the General Office of Hunan Provincial People's Government on "Promoting the 'Alumni Returning to Hunan' Work Plan" and the specific measures of Hunan Provincial Department of Education to promote the "Alumni Returning to Hunan" work meeting. The college will also organize a series of related activities, such as "Alumni Return to Their Alma Mater to Empower a New Journey" employment and entrepreneurship event, "Alumni Culture Week", etc., to advance the "Alumni Returning to Hunan" initiative, ensuring the decisions and deployments of the Provincial Committee and Government are effectively implemented.
