Spring 2024 Opening Ceremony for International Students Held at the College

On the morning of March 4th, HNMMC held the Spring 2024 Opening Ceremony for International Students. Xie Jingwei, Deputy Secretary of the CPC HNMMC Committee, attended the event, along with relevant persons in charge of the International Exchange Office, the School of International Communication, representatives of international student teachers, and representatives of international students and their parents.

During the ceremony, Xie Jingwei warmly welcomed the arrival of international students. He stated that China is actively promoting the high-quality construction of the "Belt and Road," striving for the common development, long-term stability, and mutual learning of human society. Students have traveled from afar to China to pursue knowledge and realize their dreams at our college. The college will spare no effort to provide high-quality services to international students from all aspects and create a good learning and living environment for them. At the same time, Xie Jingwei hoped that international students would care for each other, unite and cooperate, explore bravely, strengthen exchanges, strive to be messengers, give full play to their respective strengths, jointly realize the cultural diversity of the college, build bridges for exchanges and cooperation between countries, and contribute to the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.

RASOANJANAHARY JOCELYNE, an old student from Madagascar, reviewed her experiences and gains during her studies at our college, encouraging new students to cherish their time, study diligently, actively participate in cultural experience activities, experience the real China, and tell the Chinese story well.

RATTANAKEREE NATCHA, a new student from Thailand, expressed gratitude as a representative of new students for the excellent learning environment and living conditions provided by the college, and expressed confidence in learning Chinese language and understanding Chinese culture.

After the opening ceremony, the college provided special education for international students, focusing on topics such as Chinese laws and regulations, college rules and discipline, academic guidance, safety education, living guidelines, traffic safety, and anti-fraud prevention, to provide guidance and assistance for international students to quickly adapt to the learning and living environment.
