On January 8th, the 2024 Seminar on "AIGC Industry Application Promoting Innovation in College Practical Teaching" co-hosted by the National Vocational Education Teachers' Teaching Innovation Team Collaboration Community in Next-Generation Information Technology (Phase II) and Phoenix Digital Media (Beijing) Education Technology Co., Ltd., and organized by HNMMC, along with the opening ceremony of the National Vocational Education Teachers' Corporate Practice Base, took place in the academic lecture hall. More than 60 industry and corporate experts from the Ministry of Education and across the country gathered to brainstorm and discuss the innovative applications of artificial intelligence digital media, to jointly carry out corporate practices of AIGC+ short video technology projects, and to collaboratively promote the construction of teaching innovation teams and the improvement of “dual-qualified” teacher quality in the field of next-generation information technology. The meeting was chaired by Vice President Shen Jianfei.
Secretary of the CPC HNMMC Committee, Li Sanfu, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. He introduced the unique characteristics of the college’s education, summarized the significant achievements made since the approval and establishment of the national vocational education teachers’ teaching innovation team in digital media technology major in the field of next-generation information technology, and expressed his hope to build the innovation team into a "vanguard" serving the national vocational education reform.
Guo Weidong, the Secretary-General of the National Teaching Steering Committee on Radio, Television and Online Audio-Visual Vocational Education and Vice President of Communication University of Shanxi; Liu Dong, Deputy Director of the Construction Project Office of National Vocational Education Teachers' Teaching Innovation Team; and Miao Gaoyong, Deputy Director of the Teacher Work and Teacher Education Division of Hunan Provincial Department of Education, attended the meeting and made speeches. They fully acknowledged the fruitful results achieved by our college in deepening college-enterprise cooperation and supporting the development of the media industry, and also provided guidance on how the training could deepen the vocational education teachers' corporate practice system and promote the construction of "dual-qualified" teacher teams.
Huai Yongjian, a professor and doctoral supervisor at Beijing Forestry University and member of the Ministry of Education's Joint Teaching Steering Committee on Animation and Digital Media; Tan Xinye, producer at BlueAldeas-AI Production Center of BlueFocus; Guo Chao, Vice President of Phoenix Digital Media (Beijing) Education Technology Co., Ltd.; and Xu Jianmin, Dean of the College of Architecture and Arts at Zhejiang Business Technology Institute, gave exciting reports on how AIGC industry applications can promote innovation in college practical teaching.
During the meeting, Vice President Shen Jianfei and Cao Yang, Vice President of Phoenix Digital Media (Beijing) Education Technology Co., Ltd., representing the college and the company, respectively, held a signing ceremony for the college-enterprise cooperation agreement.
It is learned that Phoenix Digital Media (Beijing) Education Technology Co., Ltd., as the second batch of national vocational education teacher corporate practice bases designated by the Ministry of Education, has fully leveraged its advantages during the project implementation, actively expanded industrial resources, and closely cooperated with many vocational colleges, including our college, to provide practice opportunities for vocational college teachers nationwide, supporting the construction of dual-qualified teacher teams.
The convening of this meeting will further strengthen the communication and cooperation among members of the collaboration community, between colleges and enterprises, promote the continuous deepening of industry and education integration, college-enterprise cooperation, build a high-level dual-qualified teacher team, and make a greater contribution to enhancing the construction level of China's vocational education teachers and paving the way for the innovative development of vocational education with Chinese characteristics.
