Recently, the first stage of the 2024 "Chuyi Cup" Hunan Provincial Skills Competition for Vocational Colleges concluded successfully, with HNMMC winning a total of 16 first prizes, 21 second prizes, and 21 third prizes, setting a historic record for both the number of first prizes and the total number of awards won.

It is reported that our college undertook the competition tasks in three events: vocational environmental art design, digital product design and development, and integrated media content planning and production. In addition, the Academic Affairs Office, in coordination with various secondary schools, meticulously organized the participation of students and teachers in various competition projects. A total of 179 participants were selected, forming 76 teams (both team and individual competitions) to compete in 32 projects. Through the collective efforts of teachers and students, the best results in history were achieved.

Our college has always attached great importance to the crucial role of skills competitions in teaching reform and talent cultivation. Taking curriculum reform as the starting point, various measures have been taken to continuously improve students' skills competition levels. By integrating positions, competitions, 1+X certificates, and innovation and entrepreneurship into the curriculum, a "position-course-competition-certificate-innovation" integrated modular curriculum system has been established to strengthen the cultivation of model worker spirit, craftsman spirit, and professional spirit. Combining skills competitions with technical level certificates and vocational qualification certificates, curriculum teaching and evaluation reform are promoted. Focusing on new technologies, standards, processes, and specifications, the college and enterprises collaborate to develop "golden courses" for vocational education. A three-level competition system comprising national, provincial, and campus-level competitions is established based on the skill requirements of professional positions, leading to continuous improvement in students' skill levels and the quality of talent cultivation.
