Recently, the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism organized an expert group to conduct a mid-term inspection and give guidance on the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's quality improvement project declared by HNMMC- "Spring Tea Project - Rural Revitalization Volunteer Service in Jinjing Tea Town, Changsha County".
The expert group held a symposium with the relevant principals from the School of International Communication of HNMMC, Changsha County Jinjing Town, Hunan Jinjing Tea Industry Co., Ltd., and Changsha Jinjing Tea Village Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd.. At the meeting, the expert group listened to the report of student Yang Hua, the project leader, and spoke highly of the characteristics and significance of the project. They believed that the project is based on the county’s actual situation, serves the local economic development, and provides new momentum for the culture- tourism integration, and the industry-education integration. The group put forward constructive opinions and suggestions on the school- town- enterprise cooperation model of HNMMC, the volunteer service of rural revitalization in Changsha County, and the development prospect of Jinjing Tea Town, which pointed out the focus and direction of the project's future work.
After the meeting, the expert team came to the Jinjing Three Trees Tea Garden, Jinjing Town Tea Transport Wharf, Jinjing Ancient Well and other places for field trip.
It is reported that since 2021, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has been organizing and implementing the action plan for improving the quality of vocational education, including three types of support projects for the college students' team practice, the Dual-Function Teachers’ teacher training and the professional postgraduates' key research. Under the guidance of teachers Liu Xiaoli and Hu Song, the project of "Spring Tea Project- Volunteer Service for Rural Revitalization of Jinjing Tea Town in Changsha County", hosted by student Yang Hua's team, was successfully selected as one of the college student team practice support projects in the 2022 cultural and art vocational education and tourism quality improvement action plan. This is the first time that our student team has been selected as the winner. This is the first time for our student team to win a national practice project, which adds one more landmark achievement of our college to comprehensively promote the integration of industry and education, school-enterprise cooperation and enhance students' professionalism.
