Recently, the School of Visual Arts organized a teaching exploration activity of higher vocational education in the new era, It was a teaching reform of driving "knowledge input" by "knowledge output", and effectively achieved the goals of teaching-centered, insisting on promoting teaching by research, and the reform of "three educations".

This activity is based on the "Interior Design Aesthetics Forum", which is a comprehensive practical training program throughout the teaching cycle, encouraging students to independently select fields that they are interested in, and using PPT sharing as the "knowledge output" to drive students to continuously carry out “knowledge input” in the relevant fields, so as to improve their capabilities in aesthetic, appreciation, PPT production and expression. In the process of practical training, students kept polishing their PPTs, enriching the content and thinking deeply, and gradually experienced the craftsmanship of "skilled craftsmen" and "craftsmen of great nation". Before the activity began, students were enthusiastic about learning and eager to present their best work to the expert teachers and students, and actively sought help from the instructors. When sharing the PPTs, everyone absorbed knowledge and information from their interested fields. Through mutual understanding and exchange, the friendship was greatly deepened between teachers and students.

This activity aims to encourage students to express and show themselves bravely, and improve their self-confidence, professionalism and other comprehensive abilities. After the activity, student questionnaire data showed that this teaching exploration activity effectively improved students' comprehensive qualities such as oral expression, writing ability, self-learning ability, professional and technical skills, logical thinking ability, and innovation ability, which was well received by students.

Moreover, this event was organized by students themselves, including posters design, inviting experts, setting up the venue, arranging the meeting agenda, serving as hosts, conference services, photography work, etc.. It has practiced students' comprehensive abilities of organizing activity, social services, unity and cooperation, and overall planning and arrangement, laying the foundation for them to confront the future competitions in society.
