On December 30, 2021, Professor Jiang Zhengguo led an expert group from Hunan Province’s "14^th Five-Year Plan" Educational and Scientific Research Base came to the college for inspection. Professor Yuan Weikun, secretary of the Party Committee, and professor Lei Junlin, vice president of the college, heads of related functional departments and secondary schools and representatives of research members attended the meeting.

In response to the "14^th Five-Year" Education Development Plan of Hunan Province, the college has applied for the "14^th Five-Year" Educational and Scientific Research Base- the Base for the Application and Promotion of Educational Research Achievements. Through the qualification examination and application materials review, HNMMC stood out from the 88 application units and became one of the 27 short-listed base units in Hunan Province.

On behalf of the college, Yuan Weikun, secretary of the Party Committee, expressed a warm welcome to the expert group and great honor to be shortlisted for this base selection. Then, he introduced the base construction to the expert group from the aspects of the college’s development, the existing foundation and advantages, and the base construction plan. Vice president Lei Junlin gave a detailed report on the scientific research advantages of the college, how chief expert can play a leading role, and the expected results of the base construction.

Afterwards, the expert group checked and reviewed the materials of the base planning and declaration, had discussions and exchanges with the core personnel of the construction, and went to the All-media Comprehensive Training Room of our college for on-site inspections.

After the inspection, the expert group highly affirmed the current foundation and achievements, construction goals and construction plans of our base, and put forward guiding opinions and related improvement measures.
