According to the letter of the Ministry of Education, "Work Suggestions on the Special Activities of the "Four Ones" in the "5·25 " Mental Health Education Month for College & University Students" in 2020", HNMMC’s 15th Session of 5·25 Mental Health Day Online Lectures on Mental Health during the Epidemic Period was held on the night of June 11. The Mental Health Education and Counseling Center of the Students Affairs Division invited Ren Chunmei, a national second-level psychological counselor and associate professor, to deliver a mental health knowledge lecture to all the students of 2018 and 2019 in HNMMC through live lessons.

The theme of the lecture was "Psychological Adjustment during the Re-opening of the semester in the Time of the Epidemic". Through detailed data, novel cases, and practical methods, Ren Chunmei explained to the students the pressure of re-opening of the semester in the post-epidemic period and the reasons for it. She guided students to adjust to stress from three aspects, including emotional relief and catharsis, planning of academic life, and optimization of parent-child relationship.

At the peak of the whole lecture, more than 10,000 students, parents, teachers and netizens were online at the same time, with a total of 167,000 views. During the lecture, the students listened carefully and actively interacted at an warm atmosphere. Students mentioned that they have learned a lot through the lecture, which helped them to reduce their ideological pressure, eliminate their tension, and enhance their confidence and determination to overcome the epidemic. It also provides a strong guarantee for them to scientifically prevent and control the epidemic and arrange their studies in a reasonable manner.
