On August 18th, Liu Ying, Director of the Moral Education Office of the Department of Vocational Education, Ministry of Education, and a Second-leveI Inspector, accompanied by Wang Yu, a Fourth-level Investigator of the Vocational Education Department of Hunan Province, visited HNMMC to investigate the Party building and ideological and political work. The leaders of the college Liu Guoqing, Xu Jingxue, Lei Junlin and Xie Jingwei attended the investigation symposium.

At the symposium, Liu Guoqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party committee of HNMMC, presented the experience and methods in the college’s party building and ideological and political work in terms of the basic development and construction of HNMMC, the effectiveness by comprehensively strengthening Party self-discipline, the construction of the "three comprehensive education" pattern, and the development of the "Chinese Bridge" competition. Liu Guoqing stated that the college will further study Xi Jinping’s thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourse on Party building and ideological and political work in colleges and universities. In accordance with the national vocational education reform scheme and the requirements of relevant documents of the Ministry of Education, HNMMC would make an all-out effort to enforce strict Party discipline and lead the cultivation of talents with high-quality Party building work.

Liu Ying fully affirmed the college’s active exploration and achievements in Party building and ideological and political work. He believed that the college has a clear work direction, effective measures, and notable results. Liu Ying hoped that the Party committee of the college would further play the central role of leadership, implement the Party’s education policy in the new era, and spare no effort to promote the comprehensive reform of "three comprehensive education" through continuously strengthening the ideological and political work among higher vocational students, in order to cultivate more creative and highly skilled talents for the implementation of the "powerful cultural country" and Chinese culture "going global" strategies.

After the meeting, Liu Ying and his entourage, accompanied by the leaders of HNMMC, visited the college’s 1400㎡ studio, Omni-media Interactive Studio Hall and other educational and teaching facilities.
