On June 24th, Zhu Dan, member of the Party committee of HNMMC and director of the Publicity and United Front Work Division, was invited to the Hunan Education Administration Network to conduct an online interview with netizens on the theme of Internet Education in the “Micro” Era of “Convergence Media”.

To cope with these challenges, ideological and political work of colleges and universities must avoid adverse effects, spread correct ideological culture, and occupy the ideological high ground on the Internet to pass advanced and active ideological and political culture to students. The colleges should pay attention to current affairs in time, conform to the national policy situation and the development trend of the "micro" era, making correct and convincing judgments on heated viewpoint issues, and planting the "seeds" of excellent outlook on life, world, and values into students beforehand. At the same time, it is necessary to implement network ideological and political education in a way that students are willing and good at accepting, using the "micro" era method and representative new media operations to reduce boring and blind preaching, so that college students receive the mainstream ideas promoted by the school in time when browsing information.

In the interview, Zhu Dan shared the college's successful experience in cultivating students with Internet. He introduced that HNMMC, as a vocational college oriented to the cultural media industry, trains students to directly engage in public opinion guidance and information dissemination in the future, and the college’s Party committee pays particular attention to ideological and political work. Ideological,and political work and cultivating students work have always been the “top leadership project” that the party secretary and president personally conduct. The college Party committee puts ideological work in a particularly important position and attaches importance to the construction of platforms, teams, and mechanisms of cultivating students with Internet by creating a series of "micro" platforms for ideological and political education that are full of "enthusiasm of the times, humanities, and depth of thought". When introducing the convergence media center built by the college, Zhu Dan emphasized that the Convergence Media Center of the college is built together with the Yiban Development Center, which is not only a campus media and professional training base, but more importantly, a position for ideological and political education.

How to carry out ideological and political work with the help of official WeChat account? When answering questions from netizens, Zhu Dan mentioned that the most important issue is to regulate management and firmly grasp the ideological leadership.
