The National Finals of the First AI‑Assisted Digital Character Innovative Design Competition Successfully Concludes at Our College

On December 7, the closing ceremony of the National Finals of the First AI‑Assisted Digital Character Innovative Design Category, part of the 2025 “Belt and Road” and BRICS Skills Development and Technology Innovation Competition, was successfully held at our college.


At the closing ceremony,Shen Jianfei, member of the college’s Party Committee and Vice President, delivered a review and summary of the competition. He pointed out that the student groups’ entries demonstrated outstanding creativity and proficient application of AI technology, while the teacher groups’ entries deeply integrated industry practice and teaching experience, fully reflecting the high‑quality outcomes of current digital skills talent cultivation. All participants adhered to the competitive spirit of “respecting rules,opponents, andprofessionalism”, completing their contests with focused dedication. The judging panel carried out its work with rigor, the technical expert team provided full support throughout. Our college, as the host, together with co‑organizers Boke Technology Group Co., Ltd. and Diamond Yu Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., provided meticulous organization and services, collectively laying a solid foundation for the successful running of the competition. Subsequently, Liang Jicheng, Head Judge of the competition, and Tang Zhiping, an industry expert, gave professional evaluations of the participants’ performances.


Nearly one hundred participants from multiple provinces and cities across the countrywere selected in this competition, including four categories: secondary vocational, higher vocational, undergraduate, and teacher groups. After intense competition, a total of 10 first prizes, 19 second prizes, and 30 third prizes were awarded, along with multiple honors such as “Excellent Instructor Awards” and “Best Organization Awards”. Our faculty and students achieved impressive results.Student Liu Lu, guided by Teacher Zhou Yanmei, and student Li Changhao, guided by Teacher Wang Shuqin, won first prizes in the higher vocational student group; Teacher Zhang Jing won a first prize in the teacher group, and Teacher Liu Tong won a third prize in the teacher group; Teacher Zhou Yanmei and Teacher Wang Shuqin received “Excellent Instructor Awards”; our college was also awarded the “Best Organization Award”.


The competition showcased China’s achievements in talent cultivation at the intersection of digital creativity and artificial intelligence, injecting new momentum into promoting the application of AI technology in the cultural and creative industry and deepening skills exchange and cooperation among BRICS countries and Belt and Road partner countries. In the future, our college will continue to strive to build platforms for young skilled talents to showcase themselves and grow, contributing to the higher‑level development of the digital creative industry.
