The First International Seminar on Digital Intelligence and Creativity in Vocational Education Held in Changsha

On December 6, the First International Seminar on Digital Intelligence and Creativity in Vocational Education, a sub‑forum of the High‑Quality Development Conference on Industry‑Education Integration in Digital Imaging under the themeof “Intelligence Empowers Digital Media, Technology and Innovation Nurture New Growth,” was successfully held in Changsha. The seminar was hosted by the China Image Media Industry‑Education Integration Community and the Hunan Cultural Industry Vocational Education Group, and organized by our college.


With the theme of “Digital Media Sets Sail, Vocational Education Voyages Far – Jointly Promoting High‑Quality Internationalization of Vocational Educationin Digital Media”, the seminar focused on the digital media field and was dedicated to building a platform for connecting Chinese enterprises along the Belt and Road with vocational colleges, thereby facilitating the deep integration of talent supply and industrial demand. Representatives from the education sector of participating countries, industry experts, heads of Chinese enterprises, and leaders from Chinese higher vocational colleges attended the seminar.


In his address, Mr. Xie Jingwei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, stated that the college is taking its two major program clustersas engines, Digital Media Technology and Digital Media Art and Design, integrating digital technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality into teaching, and upgrading talent cultivation toward “a balance of digital intelligence literacy and creative ability”. He emphasized that internationalization of vocational education is not only about exporting skills but also about the joint standards development and mutual cultural learning. The college is willing to share resources and co‑build an ecosystem with global partners, deepening the transition from “going out” to “integrating in”, thereby supporting the growth of young people worldwide.


Mr. Avis Muhammad, Chinese SecretaryGeneral of the China‑Pakistan Digital Education Alliance, introduced cooperation opportunities in Pakistan’s vocational education sector. Ms. Ma Yuehan, Chinese Director of the Chinese Language Center at Villa College in the Maldives, shared his practices and reflections on promoting the internationalization of vocational education through the “Chinese + vocational skills” model. Representatives from enterprises such as Shanghai Boke City and Xingyun Group offered suggestions on cultivating digital media talents based on their overseas practices.


During the roundtable dialogue, representatives from more than ten domestic and international institutions, including Music Connection Talent Academy (Malaysia), Tianjin University of Technology and Education, Shanghai Nanhu Vocational and Technical College, Guizhou Media Vocational and Technical College, and Shaanxi Vocational and Technical College, together with industry experts, discussed the construction path of an international resource library for the Digital Media Art and Design program cluster. They aimed to deeply integrate the curriculum system and teaching standards with the industrial needs of the Belt and Road Initiative, laying the foundation for the systematic “internationalization” of vocational education resources.
