Recently, the Department of Language and Character Management of the Ministry of Education and the Youth Development Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League commended outstanding units and individuals in the 2025 National College Student Summer Social Volunteer Service Activity “Promoting Mandarin to Boost Rural Revitalization.” Our college’s “Golden Voice” Three Rural Services National Unity and Progress Practice Team was affirmed for its remarkable achievements, and the relevant supervising teachers and student members received commendation.
Our college attached great importance to this practical activity, forming a dedicated team to actively participate. During the activity, team members closely followed the theme, carefully designed implementation plans based on the actual needs of rural areas, and innovated outreach formats. Through engaging methods such as interactive classrooms, scenario simulations, skills training, and cultural evenings, they carried out Mandarin promotion activities targeting rural youth, grassroots workers, and villagers. By deeply integrating language promotion with rural cultural development and people’s livelihood services, they effectively enhanced the local residents’ ability to use the national common language and script, and achieved positive results in promoting inter‑ethnic cultural exchanges and consolidating a sense of community for the Chinese nation, fully demonstrating the sense of responsibility and practical ability of our students.
This recognition not only showcases the dedication and professional competence of our students in serving society but also highlights the important role of the national common language and script in promoting rural revitalization and strengthening ethnic unity. As a National Language Promotion Base, the college will continue to improve its practice‑oriented education mechanisms, guide faculty and students to leverage their professional strengths, deepen language promotion efforts, and encourage more young people to contribute their youthful energy to national development through practice.
