Good News! Our Students Win the Grand Prize in the First National College Students Official Document Writing Competition

Recently, the first “Kingsoft Cup” National College Student Official Document Writing Competition came to a successful conclusion, receiving extensive coverage and attention from multiple national and mainstream media outlets including Guangming Daily, Xinhuanet, Phoenix Net, China.com, and eol.cn. Under the guidance of Teacher Wang Xi and Teacher Huang Linfei, the participating team consisting of Tan Jiamin and Yuan Dian, both Class of 2023 students from the Modern Secretarial Program, won the Grand Prize in the national final with an outstanding score of 93.5 points for their final work, E‑commerce Empowers Rural Revitalization – A Research Report on the Development of the Dark Tea Industry in Anhua County, Hunan Province. The work was also recognized as one of the “Top 100 Undergraduate and Vocational College Research Reports”.


This competition was jointly organized by Beijing Kingsoft Office Software Co., Ltd. and 13 undergraduate institutions including Capital Normal University. It was divided into eight competition zones nationwide and attracted more than 50,000 students from 395 universities and colleges. After rigorous selection through preliminary and semi‑final rounds at the regional level, the competition advanced to the national final stage.


Over the course of the competition, which lasted several months, our students delivered outstanding performances and achieved remarkable results. In the individual preliminary round of the Central China region, 26 students from the Modern Secretarial Program (Classes of 2023 and 2024) participated, and 16 successfully advanced to the next round. In the semi‑final round, 8 students won first prizes, 2 won second prizes, and 2 won third prizes, achieving an award rate of 75%, placing ourcollege at the forefront of higher vocational institutions in the Central China region. In the national team final, two teams consisting of four studentscompeted against more than a thousand participants nationwide, and both teams won awards.The team of Tan Jiamin and Yuan Dian won the Grand Prize, while the team of Zhou Ziyi and Luo Ying won a second prize, achieving a 100% award rate, which made the college rank first among higher vocational colleges nationwide.


These outstanding results fully demonstrate the solid effectiveness of the Modern Secretarial Programin talent cultivation, particularly the significant achievements in the construction and teaching practice of related courses such as Chinese Language and Literature, Official Document Writing, and Social Survey Practice. They also reflect the college’s educational orientation of emphasizing the integration of theory and practice and striving to enhance students’ comprehensive qualities.
