Ms. Li Wenbing, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Communication University of Zhejiang, extended a warm welcome to the event. She pointed out that the digital culture and creative industry has entered a new stage of deep “AI+” integration, and the structural contradiction between industrial upgrading and talent supply has become increasingly prominent. And she emphasized that high‑quality development of the digital culture and creative industry urgently requires to break down barriers between education and industry and building an ecosystem for the coordinated development of production, education, research, and application.

Mr. He Zhanbing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, President of Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College, and representative of the lead initiator of the Community, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. He stated that vocational colleges are closely connected to industry development and should proactively become deep participants and firm promoters of supporting industry through education and leading development through innovation. On the new track of AI and art convergence, vocational colleges shoulder the important mission of cultivating new types of technical and skilled talents and serving the national strategy of becoming a culturally strong country. As the lead initiator of the Community, he put forward three initiatives: first, deepen the “AI+art” education system to jointly build a high ground for teaching innovation; second, focus on the integration of technology and culture to jointly tackle key technological challenges; and third, expand international vocational education cooperation to jointly cultivate the ability to “go global”.

Mr. Tian Yuping, Vice President of NetEase Youdao, discussed industry talent demands, the vision for college‑enterprise cooperation, and NetEase’s strategic layout in the digital cultural and creative sector. He noted that since its establishment, the Community has built a collaborative network of more than 300 member institutions from colleges and enterprises. He expressed the hope that this meeting would serve as an opportunity to deepen curriculum co‑development and project cooperation among Community members, enabling AI technology to truly empower the upgrading of the cultural and creative industry.

A work report on the Community in 2025 and an outlook for its work in 2026were presented in the event. It announced the establishment of the national “AI+Art” Virtual Teaching and Research Office, marking a new stage in cross‑institutional and cross‑enterprise curriculum development and faculty collaboration. Subsequently, the “AI+Art” Faculty Enhancement Program was officially launched, with its aim to promote the regular integration of industry mentors into classrooms and deepen the integration of the education chain and the industry chain. The ceremony also included the addition of new member units to the Community: three enterprises and 16 colleges and universities, bringing a total of 19 new units into the Community. In addition, the event featured multiple thematic presentations and discussions on topics such as AI digital art talent cultivation, and innovation in industry‑education integration mechanisms.

The successful conclusion of this annual exchange activity is not only an important milestone in the annual work of the National Digital Culture and Creative Industry Industry‑Education Integration Community but also a vivid example of vocational education proactively aligning with national strategies and serving industrial upgrading. Our college will take this exchange activity as an opportunity to further leverage its exemplary and leading role as the lead initiator of the Community, focusing on the goals of “enhancing quality and efficiency, increasing value and empowerment,” continuously deepening innovation in industry‑education integration mechanisms, and promoting the integration of the education chain, talent chain, industry chain, and innovation chain. It will contribute more “Hunan wisdom” and “media power” to the high‑quality development of China’s digital culture and creative industry and the modernization of the vocational education system.
