Good News! Faculty and Students from the School of Visual Arts Win Double Silver Prize at the BRICS Skills Competition in the AIGC Cultural and Creative Design Category

Recently, the finals of the 2025 “Belt and Road” and BRICS Skills Development and Technology Innovation Competition – AIGC Cultural and Creative Design category came to a successful conclusion. Faculty and students from the School of Visual Artsstood out with their solid professional foundation and innovative design concepts, and won multiple honors, fully demonstrating the college’s practical achievements in talent cultivation in the digital cultural and creative field.


The competition was jointly organized by four institutions, including the Organizing Committee of the BRICS Skills Development and Technology Innovation Competition and the “Belt and Road” and BRICS Skills Development International Alliance. As an important platform for international skills exchange in the digital cultural and creative field, the competition attracted hundreds of university and vocational college teams from across the country.

In the finals, our college’s participating students delivered outstanding and received remarkable results. Luo Ziyan, guided by Teacher Li Hongxia and Teacher Hu Rong, and Zeng Siyang, guided by Teacher Li Hongxia and Teacher Deng Shuiqing, both won a second prize. Jiang Wenxuan and Ding Jiayi, guided by Teacher Li Xiaru and Teacher Wang Shuqin, won a third prize. The entries closely followed the two major themes of “Belt and Road Cultural Integration” and “BRICS Technological Collaboration,” deeply integrating AIGC technology with traditional cultural and creative design. They not only demonstrated cutting‑edge technological application capabilities but also conveyed the values of cultural innovation and resonance with the times. All of them received unanimous praise from the judging panel.

In addition, the college was awarded the Excellent Organization Award for its outstanding event organization. Teacher Li Hongxia, Hu Rong, and Deng Shuiqing were each granted the title of Outstanding Instructor.
