Good News! Our Students Achieve a Grand Slam at the Provincial Final of the Third National College Student Career Planning Competition

On January 19th, the final round of the Third Hunan Provincial College Student Career Planning Competition was successfully concluded at Hunan University of Science and Technology. This year’s competition attracted 1.2455 million students from 140 universities across the province, setting a new record in scale. It demonstrated the robust career planning awareness and proactive employment attitudes of Hunan students.

Our students performed excellently in the competition,with solid professional foundations, clear career plans, and an energetic youthful demeanor, achieving a remarkable result of 1 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals. Specifically, Zhou Tianya from the School of Visual Arts won the gold medal in the Employment Track of the Vocational Education Group; Zeng Shuai won the silver medal in the Growth Track of the Vocational Education Group; Yi Yuzhen from the School of Management and Wang Ziniu from the School of Visual Arts won bronze medals in the Growth Track and Employment Track of the Vocational Education Group, respectively. Teacher Xie Bei received the title of “Outstanding Instructor”, while Teacher Yan Ping from the School of Marxism won the gold medal in the Curriculum Teaching Track. The college was honored with the “Excellent Organization Award”.


The outstanding achievements in this competition are vivid manifestations of the college’s consistent dedication to fostering virtue through education, deepening industry-education integration, and serving students’ comprehensive development.
