Good News! Our Students Won First Prize and Qualified for the National Competition in the Provincial “Chuyi Cup” Vocational Skills Competition

On February 1st, in the “Sports Activity Design and Implementation” event of the higher vocational group at the provincial “Chuyi Cup” Vocational Skills Competition, the two teams from thecollege won one first prize and one second prize respectively, achieving the best result in the college’s history and successfully securing one of the two national competition qualification slots.


The college sent two teams to compete in this event. Under the careful guidance of their teachers, the students worked hard andachieved excellent results,with their solid professional abilities and outstanding performance. The team guided by Teacher Zhang Lisha and Teacher Luo Le, consisting of Mao Zhijie from Class 2301 of Character Image Design, School of Visual Arts, Zeng Wentao from Class 2401 of Digital Media Technology, School of New Media Technology, and Wang Zhenyu from Class 2404 of Software Technology, School of New Media Technology, won the first prize. The other team guided by Teacher Liu Hongzhi and Teacher Zhang Wenzhe, consisting of Tan Mi from Class 2501 of Broadcasting and Hosting, School of Film and Television Arts, Li Yihua from Class 2401 of News Editing and Production, School of Journalism and Communication, and He Yongyi from Class 2502 of Photography and Videography, School of Journalism and Communication, won the second prize.

This honor is by no means accidental. It is reported that in preparation for the competition, the participating teams raced against time and gave their all, training every day from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. To save time, they treated the gymnasium as their home, constantly refining their skills through repeated practice and diligent study, embodying hard work and perseverance with their sweat and dedication. This honor is the best reward for their day‑and‑night efforts and united collaboration.


The outstanding performance in this competition is a remarkable demonstration of the college’s results in deepening education and teaching reform, strengthening practical skills training, promoting the simultaneous development of five types of education, and serving students’ comprehensive development. It is also a vivid practice of collaborative education across the schools and the support for the construction of the “Double High-level Plan” program clusters. Going forward, the award‑winning teams will continue their efforts, striving courageously and aiming for new heights in the national competition selection, winning greater honors for the college and making further contributions to the construction of program clusters.
