On February 1st, the category of “Digital Art Design” of the 2026 “Chuyi Cup” Hunan Provincial Vocational College Skills Competition came to a successful conclusion. Faculty and students from the School of Visual Arts stood out among 39 provincial teams, winning a first prize and securing qualification for the national competition.
The “Chuyi Cup” competition is jointly sponsored by the Hunan Provincial Department of Education, the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, and other relevant authorities. It is a highly authoritative and influential skills event in Hunan’s vocational education field. This year’s “Digital Art Design” competition closely followed the development trends of digital technology, assessing multiple core competencies including aesthetic design, 3D modeling, and teamwork. The competition adopted an 8‑hour offline team format, was highly competitive, and comprehensively tested the contestants’ overall quality and practical abilities.
This award is not only a concentrated demonstration of the professional excellence of the college’s faculty and students but also a vivid manifestation of the achievements of the Digital Media Art and Design program cluster under the “Double High-level Plan”.
