Recently, at the annual commendation conference of Panlong Police Station, Public Transport Security Branch of Changsha Public Security Bureau, the college was honored as an “Outstanding Organization for Subway Lei Feng Volunteer Police for 2025”, and volunteerstudent Jiang Huilin received the title of “Advanced Individual for Subway Volunteer Police for 2025”. This recognition fully affirms the college’s work in the Subway Lei Feng Volunteer Police service over the past year and highly acknowledges the dedication and spirit of all participating faculty and students.
Since Panlong Police Station established the “Subway Lei Feng Volunteer Police” public security volunteer workstation on Changsha Metro Line 5 in May 2024, the college has carefully organized and extensively mobilized students, recruiting a total of more than 560 volunteers. They have actively participated in various volunteer tasks, including subway public security assistance, passenger flow guidance, civil behavior promotion, and passenger services. Their cumulative service hours exceed 1,330 hours, and they have served more than 130,000 passenger trips. These actions have been repeatedly praised and recognized by Panlong Police Station as well as from citizens and passengers. Through firsthandservice, our students carry forward the spirit of Lei Feng, safeguarding urban safety and spreading warmth to travelers with their youthful energy.
Looking ahead, the college’s Youth League Committee will continue to cultivate volunteer service platforms, explore new forms of practical education, and rally the strength of young volunteers, making the banner of “Youth Following Lei Feng, Illuminating Changsha City” even more brilliant.
