On March 27th, the “Photosynthetic Education” Hunan Province “14th Five-Year Plan” Student Financial Aid and Education Achievement Exhibition was successfully held at Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College. The event was sponsored by the Hunan Provincial Department of Education, organized by the Hunan Provincial Student Financial Aid Management Center and Mango TV, and co-organized by the college. Attendees included Tan Wei, Member of the Party Committee of the National Student Financial Aid Center of the Ministry of Education and Director of the Publicity and Education Division; Huang Zhiyong, Member of the Education Working Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Chief Inspector of the Provincial Department of Education; Zhang Wei, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy President of Hunan Branch of China Development Bank; He Zhanbing, Secretary of the Party Committee of the college; as well as responsible heads of relevant departments from the Provincial Department of Education, the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, the Provincial Department of Finance, and the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security. Representatives from 14 prefecture-level financial aid centers across the province and nearly 70 higher education institutions gathered to witness the achievements of student financial aid and education during Hunan’s “14th Five-Year Plan” period, and to exchange experiences and practices in this field.
As a co-organizer of the event, the college, led by the Student Affairs Department and with the full collaboration of the Party and Administration Office, the Organization and Personnel Department, the Publicity and United Front Department, the Finance Department, the International Exchange Division, the Security Department, the Logistics and Infrastructure Department, the Training Center, the Youth League Committee, and all secondary schools, made every effort to ensure the smooth running of the exhibition. The meticulous organization received high praise from all attending guests.
Holding this event at the college is a strong affirmation of the college’s work in student financial aid and education. In this regard, the college has consistently integrated financial aid and education into the entire process of fostering virtue through education, fully leveraging its strengths in media disciplines. It has actively carried out educational practices such as financial aid publicity, public welfare content creation, and role model lectures, promoting a deep integration of material support and moral cultivation. Looking ahead, the college will take this exhibition as an opportunity to learn from advanced practices across the province, continue to refine targeted financial aid, and optimize the system of financial aid-enhanced education. Aligned with the “Double High-level Plan” construction and the goal of upgrading to a university, the college will further deepen the integration of professional education with financial aid and holistic development. Relying on its distinctive media programs, the college will strive to tell compelling stories of financial aid in Hunan, empower the college’s development with high-quality financial aid work, and contribute the strength of the whole college to the high-quality development of student financial aid and education across the province.
