On the morning of April 10th, Luo Jin, General Manager of the Institutional Client Department of CGB Changsha Branch, led a delegation to Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College for an exchange and guidance visit. The two sides held a symposium focused on deepening bank-college cooperation, promoting industry-education integration, and jointly cultivating interdisciplinary talents. He Zhanbing, Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, attended the meeting, along with heads of relevant administrative departments and secondary colleges.

He Zhanbing welcomed the delegation and expressed gratitude to CGB for its long-term support to the economic, social, and education development in Hunan. He noted that as one of the first nationally joint-stock commercial banks in China, CGB leads the way inthe field of financial innovation, serving the real economy, and digital transformation. He then outlined the college’s educational philosophy with four concise phrases: “innovation as the soul, dynamism as the form, integration as the path, and well-being as the goal.” To deepen the bank-college partnership, Secretary He put forward three suggestions: First, leverage distinctive strengths to identify synergy points.Jointly establish a training base for financial and media talents, cultivating interdisciplinary professionals with expertise in both finance and media. Second, focus on demands to explore new pathways.Co-create innovative models for campus financial literacy education, co-host digital marketing competitions, and build practical platforms for students. Third, strengthen safeguards to ensure tangible outcomes. The college will proactively align with the bank’s needs, translating demand lists into task lists, and take project implementation as the lever to set a benchmark for bank-college cooperation in Hunan.

During the symposium, the respective representatives engaged in in-depth discussions on comprehensive financial service solutions, talent cultivation plans, and practical platform setup, reaching broad consensus and clarifying future directions and implementation paths.

This symposium served as a high-quality platform for the college to deepen industry-education integration and carry out the special action of visiting enterprises to expand employment opportunities. The college will continue to strengthen collaboration with leading industry players, enhance the alignment between talent cultivation and industry demands, and contribute to the cultivation of high-caliber financial and media talents, thereby supporting the high-quality development of regional economy and culture.
