On November 4, 2025, Hunan Mass Media Vocational & Technical College (HNMMC) and China United Network Communications Limited Hunan Branch (“China Unicom Hunan”) held a grand signing ceremony for their strategic cooperation framework agreement at the college’s library conference room 203. The two parties will engage in deep collaboration in areas such as smart campuses, 5G applications, and industry-education integration, jointly exploring new paths for the integration of digital technologies and media education. The ceremony was attended by He Zhanbing, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and President of the college, and Zhou Zhi, Secretary of the CPC Committee and General Manager of China Unicom Hunan. The event was hosted by Shen Jianfei, the college's CPC Committee member and Vice President.
In his speech, He Zhanbing emphasized that, as a national key higher vocational institution and the cradle for professionals in Hunan broadcasting and television industry, the college has always maintained its educational focus on serving the cultural industry and highlighting its media characteristics. Establishing a strategic partnership with China Unicom Hunan, a comprehensive information service provider, is a key measure for the college to align with the trends of digitalization and intelligence, driving the deep integration of the education chain, talent chain, industry chain, and innovation chain. He expressed hope that this cooperation will result in the creation of exemplary college-enterprise collaborative outcomes, contributing to the implementation of Hunan's "Three Hubs and Four Missions" strategy and the development of a culturally strong province by nurturing high-quality, creative technical and skilled talents.
Zhou Zhi pointed out in his speech that China Unicom Hunan is fully committed to transforming from a basic network provider into a comprehensive information service provider. This collaboration represents an important step in the company's efforts to deepen industry coordination and serve the digitalization strategy in education. He stated that both parties will leverage their strengths in technology, market, talent, and research to achieve resource sharing and collaborative innovation in cutting-edge fields such as new infrastructure, audio and video digital labeling, and artificial intelligence, jointly creating a new model for college-enterprise cooperation.
Under the witness of attending leaders and guests, the representatives of both parties officially signed the strategic cooperation framework agreement. According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in various areas, including new infrastructure construction, education digitalization, digital media art program cluster development, the establishment of an industry-education integration base for audio-video digital labeling, and technology integration and shared research and innovation, following the principles of "resource sharing, complementary advantages, win-win cooperation, and common development".
