To promote outstanding traditional Chinese culture and enrich students' campus life, the "Warmth of Winter, Fragrance of Dumplings" dumpling-making experience event was successfully held on the afternoon of November 11, 2025. The event was jointly organized by the Logistics and Infrastructure Department and the college’s CCYL Committee, with the First Canteen as a co-organizer. It took place in the faculty dining area on the second floor of the First Canteen.

Taking advantage of the "Lidong" (Beginning of Winter) solar term, the event gathered 30 student representatives from across the college. Under the guidance of the canteen chefs, the students were divided into groups to learn how to prepare filling and make dumplings, experiencing the traditional food-making process firsthand. Once the dumplings were boiled, the students enjoyed the fruits of their labor together, deepening their understanding of seasonal cultural customs. The scene was filled with warmth and a sense of accomplishment.

This event is a vivid practice of the college’s efforts to integrate cultural education with labor education, fostering communication among students and enhancing their sense of belonging to the campus. The Logistics and Infrastructure Department and the CCYL Committee expressed their commitment to continuing to organize more culturally enriching campus activities, contributing to the creation of a harmonious and civilized campus environment.
