From November 14 to 16, the 2025 World Chinese Language Conference was held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing under the theme "Innovation Leads, AI Empowers: Learning Chinese without Borders". Xie Jingwei, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of HNMMC, Najeeb, Executive Vice President of the Chinese Language Center at Villa College, Maldives, Ma Yuehan, the Chinese Director of the Center, and Zhang Wei, Dean of the International Education School of Chang'an University, were invited to attend.

This conference was hosted by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, and co-organized by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education, the Chinese International Education Foundation, and the International Society for Chinese Language Teaching. More than 2,000 participants were invited, including officials from education authorities of various countries and regions, representatives of international organizations, leaders of Chinese and foreign higher education institutions and international language and culture promotion organizations, experts and scholars, corporate representatives, and diplomatic envoys to China. The conference focused on topics such as building a localized Chinese education system in the digital intelligence era, constructing a borderless Chinese learning ecosystem through online and offline integration, the establishment of standards for Chinese language education from a global perspective, innovation and model practices in Chinese language teaching at primary and secondary schools overseas oriented toward the future, opportunities and challenges in intelligent Chinese language assessment, the practice and innovation in cultivating overseas applied Chinese language professionals, the construction of "Chinese+" collaborative ecosystem and case sharing, enhancement of digital literacy and competencies of international Chinese language teachers, mutual learning between Chinese and foreign civilizations, talent cultivation in Chinese studies, the digital application and practice of Confucius Institutes, the global outreach of Chinese film, television, and games, and international dissemination of language and culture.

At the exhibition, HNMMC showcased the "Tiandi Panda" Chinese teaching resource package, the Chinese teaching aids "Turning Chinese Characters" and "Pinyin Learning Cards", as well as the Mawangdui cultural creative series products designed by our Digital Media Art Design Program Cluster in collaboration with the Hunan Museum. Deputy Director of the Hunan Provincial Department of Education, Zhu Zhenghua, visited the exhibition area and highly recognized HNMMC's innovative practice in integrating cultural heritage with international Chinese language education. He encouraged the team to continue refining the products and, through the international platform of the World Chinese Language Conference, to bring more high-quality results to the global stage, injecting diverse vitality into the development of international Chinese language education.
